NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING

Non-destructive testing of the airplane structure is performed using the following methods:

  • Penetrant Testing (PT)
  • Magnetic Testing (MT)
  • Eddy current Testing (ET)
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Visual Testing (VT)

We also provide services of Non-destructive Testing for other industrial sectors.

SECTION FOR MEASUREMENT AND CALIBRATION

  • Measurement section (Calibration Lab) provides metrological service of measurement equipment for LOTAMS’ customers and external airlines
  • All calibrations and measurements are conducted in line with PART 145. The section is audited and approved as reference laboratory by a number of airlines – LOTAMS clients
  • All the operations, including weighing, measurements and calibrations are carried and documented in accordance with domestic and international standards
  • The Section employs a well-qualified and equipped staff, who are ready to provide the highest quality service
  • The Section implements calibration of measurement of the following devices: avionics testers, electrical testers, sensors, meters, gauges, weighing systems, load cells, torque wrenches, micrometres, manometers and more

PLANNING AND ENGINEER SERVICES

  • Preparing and accepting structural repairs projects that leave the frames of standard technical documentation
  • Preparing detailed technological guidelines and implementation plans for Service Bulletins, structural repairs, and non-standard modifications
  • Technical and technological assistance in prototypical modifications’ implementation and reconfiguration of aircraft’s interior
  • Engineer support in detecting and eliminating non-standard failures of the aircraft or their components
  • Engineer assistance in Phase in/Phase out operations; documentation check, verification of dent&buckle chart, assessment and recertification of the repairs
  • Subcontracting of Continuing Airworthiness Management tasks: preparing and running Maintenance Programme; carrying analyses and implementation of the Service Bulletins; maintenance task planning; preparing statuses of task completion /AD/SB

MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING SERVICES

  • Fault isolation and rectification for non-routine malfunctions
    (repeating, flickering etc.)
  • Engineering support for serious structural repairs (metallic and/or composite)
  • Engineering support for complexed non-routine maintenance processes (modifications, pilot implementations etc.)
  • Adaptation of maintenance documents in accordance with the requirements of the customers

  • Cooperation in development and analyses of Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition
  • Development and supervision over maintenance programs

  • Monitoring and assessment of the reliability of an aircraft and its sub-assemblies

  • Monitoring and updating weight and location of airplane gravity center
  • Analyses and implementation of EU OPS1 and other EASA regulations
