ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services Sp. z o. o., a provider of aircraft maintenance services, is committed to continuously improving its processes and ensuring high standards of service for its customers, while reducing the negative impact of its operations on the surrounding environment in pursuance of the Cleaner Production principles.
LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services Sp. z o. o. fulfils the commitments contained in this Environmental Policy by:
– ensuring compliance with requirements and laws and by keeping track of applicable environmental rules and regulations, as well as other provisions governing its operations,
– designing and implementing new technologies that improve the quality of its services, taking into account economic and environmental aspects consistent with the Polish Cleaner Production Programme,
– continuously improving processes in order to minimise their impact on the environment in terms of waste generation, air pollution, noise and wastewater emissions, while meeting the needs and expectations of its current and future customers and other stakeholders,
– establishing internal procedures and instructions and identifying environmental aspects that will drive appropriate environmental protection measures,
– seeking to achieve waste-free production and rational waste management (including waste segregation and minimisation of generated waste volumes) and reducing the amount of wastewater discharged,
– actively raising and maintaining the highest level of employee awareness of environmental issues through training and participation in green initiatives,
– encouraging stakeholders to engage in environmental protection efforts,
– promoting sustainable development through the reduction of waste of natural resources, materials and utilities, including water, electricity, paper and disposable products,
– providing the requisite resources for the implementation of this policy.
